General information

RESERVATIONS, FEES AND PAYMENT:
To download an application/waiver form scroll down to the bottom of any trip description on our web site and click on the button. A minimum deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required to reserve space on all trips. A completed and signed application/waiver form is required to hold a reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to trip departure. All payments must be by cheque or money order in Canadian funds payable to Bill Pollock. The American trip price is approximate only and depends on the exchange rate at the time of booking.

Detailed full colour itineraries for each trip will be e-mailed (PDF format) upon request.

TRIP PRICES ARE PER PERSON IN CANADIAN DOLLARS AND INCLUDE:

Great food, easy-going guide/cook, instruction if asked, park fees, TUCKAMOR t-shirt, canoes, canoe equipment and transportation as indicated on the itinerary - everything but personal gear. Restaurant meals while travelling by car or bus are not included unless indicated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

GEAR LIST:

A detailed outfit list is available on our web site and will be sent upon application. Trippers must provide their own ski equipment, packs, sleeping bags and in some cases sleeping pads or mattresses.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to departure - full refund less $100.00. 50% refund between 30 and 60 days prior to departure. No refund for any trip within 30 days of departure. Full refund if you find an approved substitute. We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

HEALTH AND LIABILITY:

All participants must have the health, fitness and interest for the kind of trip. Please refer to the Trip Rating Table. All guides have been certified in wilderness first aid. Any physical or medical problems that may require attention during the trip should be discussed fully at the time of application. We do not assume liability for loss or damage to person or property before, during, or after the trip. All trippers must sign a liability waiver and assumption of risk prior to trip departure. Visitors to Canada are advised to obtain their own appropriate personal insurance. The use of illegal drugs and tobacco are not permitted on any of our trips. We reserve the right to change itineraries due to extreme weather, illness, safety, etc.

MEDICAL EXPENSES:

Some trips may carry a cellular/satellite telephone by which the guide can contact the outside world in emergencies. A charge of $100.00 per call plus long distance charges will apply to all calls made on your behalf. Visitors to Canada should have medical insurance. If it is necessary to use a doctor or if a tripper must be evacuated during a trip, the tripper or his family must pay all expenses including the flight or other transportation from the trip and, if required, the flight or other transportation of the trip leader(s) back to the trip.
